Witten to Amsterdam

after a delicious breakfast with Fynn and his housemates, I packed my bags and crossed the border, making my way to Amsterdam Zuid, outside which I met Fieke. it was surreal to see her again after what has felt like far too long between hugs. her family has so generously welcomed me into their home - spoiling me with a delicious family dinner and many hugs. I feel so lucky to be here, reunited with one of my favourite people and enjoying the warmth of such a kindhearted family. tomorrow morning we wake early - Fieke and I are spending the weekend away on an island. I know very little about our adventure but I’m very excited to spend time together. another blessing to count today. <<
