here and there

living in and out of two different worlds is something I doubt I’ll ever wrap my head around. I can’t keep up with both at once, though it’s nice to be back even if for such a short time.

there are many precious people here. I’ve hardly been able to see more than a few. friends here are patient and understanding and I only truly appreciate how much I miss their presence and love when I’m with them. the hugs are nice. I would like to stay here longer - the time is too short, though I’ve tried to make the most of each moment since arriving.

I’m lucky to have two worlds, and I need to remind myself of this when I’m missing one or the other. there is a lot of love in my heart for those caring for me. I wish I could keep them closer than time and distance allow. <<

flying home

I’ll be home in a few hours, just for a week. I feel as though I need to be there longer, and wish I could stay. I’m lucky to have somewhere to call home to go back to. <<

picking it all up again

I’m not quite sure where everything is going. the time for decisions is well and truly on its way now, and I wish I could press pause. it’s all a little overwhelming, and I’ve been running from responsibility for my future for so long that I feel somewhat incapable of picking it all up again. I know I’ll have to soon. hopefully it’ll all go down okay. <<

Nymph

we have a new housemate.

Nymph visits from across the road. her parents are happy for her to visit as long as we refrain from feeding her. she is soft and bites like Tiggy used to when she was agitated.

Nymph is in fact an angel. it’s nice having a cat around again.

she is oblivious to the joy she brought into our rainy day. so effortlessly she’s made me smile without even trying. that’s a magical thought. <<

nothing but light and a camera

it’s all moving very fast. trying to stay on top of things without taking it all too seriously. already leaning three months into the year - the time makes less sense the more it passes. classes provide adequate distraction from personal frustrations with myself, though I grapple with the urge to be doing something with my heart. I miss being creative, though longing is an old friend at this point. I still wish we could just stop, or slow down at the very least. it could be nice to live and breathe on my own terms. <<
